Judy
Judy Brazell is a counselor with nearly thirty-two years in Christian ministry which include pastoral ministry, missionary service, teaching and counseling. Her decision to enter the counseling field was spiritually motivated and influences her approach to counseling. Judy combines life experience and spiritual conviction with sound biblical counseling principles. She is currently a Member Care Specialist at Elim Fellowship, providing assessment and counseling to International Workers and missionary applicants.
Judy holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of West Alabama, a Bachelor's degree in Theology from International Bible Institute and Seminary and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She holds a Certificate in Treating Sexual Addiction from Light University.
Judy completed a practicum in an Adult Outpatient Clinic working with individuals and married couples. She has completed two post-graduate supervised work experiences providing therapy to adults, adolescents and children. Her supervised experiences include addictions, severe and persistent mental illness, adjustment disorders, attention deficit, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety and women's trauma issues. 
Judy has been married for 39 years to Tom Brazell and they have three grown children and seven grandchildren. They have served full time in the Congo and served five congregations in pastoral ministry. She has provided pastoral counseling in all the congregations they have served.
Judy is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the International Association of Christian Counselors (IACC) where she holds the Board Certified Christian Counselor (BCCC) credentials. Additionally, Judy is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in New Jersey and is certified in New York as a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). She is an ordained minister with Elim Fellowship (EF), where she has been a member in good standing since 1977. She and her husband attend Bethel Christian Fellowship in Rochester, New York.
